Barbara Carter
My name is Barbara. I’m a Maine Artist from Bowdoin. I’m inspired by my family and home life. Art has always been important to me. I play with this theme in different mediums and with styles of houses. I like things that remind me of home.
As a Spindleworks artist, I weave, paint, draw and sew. Pottery, embroidery, rug hooking, and woodworking are also things I like to explore. I like to learn different skills and pattern techniques in weaving to make scarfs.
