Beauty in Black and White

July 2, 2014 spindleworks
img_4762.jpg

IMG_4760IMG_4757IMG_4762 Spindleworks staff and artists have been working hard these past few weeks to prepare for the newest installation in the What Not Gallery- the Black and White show! As the name suggests, this exhibit showcases solely monochromatic works. Despite the muted color palette, these works are anything but bland, and cover a wide variety of mediums- everything from clay to cloth to cigar-box sculptures. While some of the work was pulled from the artists’ archives, other pieces were created specifically for the show- allowing involvement of a large number of the Spindleworks artists. Stop by the What Not Gallery weekdays 9-4 or during the July 11th Brunswick Art Walk (5-8pm) to view the beautiful work!
