Summer 2025; Spindleworks hosted a week long painting intensive. Similar to an art residency, artists worked closely with international artist Annabel Keatley.

Annabel, a British artist living in Spain, traveled to Maine to paint, observe and connect with community. Working together, artists were encouraged to expand their current skills such as mixing rich colors, layering diverse textures, and exploring the application of paint glazes. Focusing on explorative techniques, artists were supported in going deeper into their creative practices.

Annable will have an exhibition "Mediterranean Blue" at Arts in the Barn in Cushing Maine.
